Goldfield

Took a motorcycle ride to the "tourist trap" ghost town of Goldfield, AZ today Sept. 11, 2005. It is only 10 miles from my home in east Mesa, Az. Goldfield is the site of a real gold mine and ghost town. There are tours of the gold mine itself and Goldfield has the only narrow guage railroad in Arizona giving tours of the Superstition Mountains. There are also Jeep tours of the mountains leaving daily. Here are some pictures I took while there today. By the way, there is no admission charge except for the tours.
