I was born in Amity Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania on August 14th, the year will remain a secret...Well, not really, it was 1941 I was one of 21 children. Yes, my father was very prolific. My oldest sister, if she were still alive would be over 100 years old. I graduated from Wattsburg High School in 1960.  I had five children and 16 grandchildren & 2 Great Grand daughters. I went to school for Computer Information Sciences. I am good at Word, Access, & Excel although I did not take the certification tests. I would like to go full time into genealogical research or work in a historical/genealogical library.

I started line dancing in 1992. Learning some of the line dances was fairly easy for me. Then I tried the two step. Now, there was a challenge for me.  Since then I have learned many, many new line dances. I have taught both partner (side by side) dance and line dance classes. I have also DJ'ed at dances and parties..George and I started Bootscooters Dance Hall in 1991 but have since parted ways.

Genealogy...  Family History...  Our Heritage...   These are the things we are made of. The past is our future and our future will be our past. I have been researching my family history for almost twenty years now and the past few years have been very fruitfull. Not only have I been able to trace my roots back to Miles Standish of the Mayflower but I have also visited the places my ancestors lived in Massachusettes, Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania.  Traveling to North Carolina I met my Aunt Nora, "my fathers sister" for the first time, and familiy I never knew. I even met my namesake, a cousin I was named after. Now that I have a computer and Family Tree Maker software, a whole new world has opened up to me. I have input close to 1,000 names into my family tree and I am planning to publish a book on my heritage in the future. I will also link some photo sites and a family tree site to this page at a later date. My next venture is a laptop with a portable scanner and digital camera.
