Choreographed for a benefit dance to raise money for an auto accident victim. Studly is the name of our club's mascot.

Charleston and modified jazz box

1-2      Touch R toe forward,  Step R beside L

3-4      Touch L toe back,  Step L beside R

5-6      Cross R over L,   Step L back

7-8      Step R to right, Cross L over R

 

Heel grind  1/4 turns

1          R heel forward,

2          Grind heel, fan toe right making 1/4 cw turn

3          L heel beside R instep

4          Grind heel, fan toe left making 1/4 ccw turn 

5          R heel beside L instep

6          Grind heel, fan toe right making 1/4 cw turn

7-8       Repeat steps 3-4 above--end facing 12:00wall

 

Charleston and jazz box turn

1-2        Touch R toe forward, Step R beside L

3-4        Touch L toe back, Step L beside R

5-6        Cross R over L, Step L back

7-8        Step R to right making 1/4 cw turn, Step L beside R

 

Calamity strut steps

1            R heel wide right, grind heel as you fan toe to right

2            Drop R toe

3            Raise R heel as you slide L toe under R heel. (L toe is                                                                                                                                                                                                            forward, R toe is pointing right)

4            Hold with a clap

5            R toe pointing forward, Step R heel wide right, grind,

                 toe to right

6            Drop R toe

7            Raise R heel, slide L toe under R heel

8            Hold with a clap

 

Toe heel struts, stomp walk

1-2         Step R toe forward, Drop heel

3-4         Step L toe forward, Drop heel

5-6         Stomp walk forward R, L

7-8         Stomp walk forward R, L

 

Weight on L, start over with R toe touch
